Simscanner's search returns matches across published Simscanner pages: countries, regions, brands, comparisons, AEO guides, FAQ topics, and policy pages. It does not search outbound brand sites, does not aggregate prices, and does not return affiliate listings. Each result links to its matching Simscanner page.
Why does my query return no results?
The query may match a country, brand, or comparison that Simscanner has not yet published. Phase 1 starts with one verified country (Japan), one brand profile (Airalo), one head-to-head comparison (Airalo vs Holafly), and the trust foundation. As more pages publish, the search index grows.
Does Simscanner's search include prices?
No. Simscanner does not aggregate or display prices. Plan prices change frequently and depend on data size, validity, and currency. Per-brand pricing detail lives on the brand profile pages with retrieved dates. The search index covers page titles, descriptions, and topic tags.
Does Simscanner's search rank brands?
No. Search returns results in relevance order, not in ranking order. Brand rankings live on /rankings, organised by sourced category. Searching for a brand name returns that brand's profile, not a verdict about the brand.
How do I request a country, brand, or comparison that does not yet appear?
Use /contact and tell Simscanner what you would like to see. Phase 1 publishes new countries, brand profiles, and comparisons against a sourced data gate; a request does not move a page ahead of that gate, but Simscanner does prioritise high-demand pages within the gate constraints.
